BRISA brings together ambitious and curious people from across Berlin's universities and disciplines to learn, build, research, and connect — with the teams, hardware, and technical environment needed to turn ideas into working systems, and a bridge to the city's laboratories, startups, and founders.
Learn
Robotics is difficult to learn in isolation. Members get a shared technical environment, educational content, and mentoring to build real capability across software, electronics, mechanics, perception, control, and learning — before committing to a specialisation.
Build
Interdisciplinary teams work toward concrete technical objectives across manipulation, autonomous systems, aerial robotics, humanoids, and embodied intelligence — with the hardware, compute, and infrastructure to carry an idea from first prototype to a system that actually works.
Research
Meaningful research participation, much earlier. With academic groups and through member-led projects, teams run experiments, build datasets and open-source infrastructure, and work toward contributions worth publishing.
Connect
The strongest connections come from building something together. We bring students across universities and disciplines into contact with researchers, laboratories, startups, companies, and founders — around actual technical work rather than networking for its own sake.
